Our Farm at a Glance

Farm Weddings at The Farm at SummitWynds
We're a family owned horse farm situated in Holden Massachusetts and overlooking beautiful Wachusett Mountain.

Owned by Amy Parker and Dick Atkins, The Farm at SummitWynds has been raising show horses since 1964. With a beautiful stone barn that was once a ski lodge, Amy & Dick decided it was time to renovate the building and put it back to use.  This time as a wedding and event venue.

The farm itself is steeped in history, dating back to the late 1800's when it was originally a farm.  Then in the early 1900's as a destination to stay at for fresh air and tobogganing, and then in the mid 1900's as a ski resort, entertaining skiers from around the Worcester County area.  In the late 1960's Amy's parents turned it into a horse farm, with people from all over the country coming for clinics, horse shows, meetings, parties and various other events.

What we grow...

Quarter Horses
Our stallion, Just Expect It is a World, NSBA and Congress Champion sire. With a great disposition he is passing along to his foals, we're proud of his accomplishments both in the show ring and as a sire. Watch for a foal by Just Expect It here at the farm in the spring of 2017.

Blueberries
Behind our wedding field, are rows of 640 blueberry bushes. Using no pesticides, our blueberries are free from chemicals. We are a pick your own, by appointment only.

Love
Our historic stone barn has been updated into an amazing event venue. By hiring your own caterer, bar service, dj, wedding planner, photographer, our couples make their day, their way..
