Lavender for Weddings
From The Knot: Lavender is said to bring good luck, but it is also a symbol of love and devotion making it a particularly meaningful flower to include in your wedding decor. Lavender also has calming properties, meaning it may take away some of the nerves if you get a sniff pre-ceremony! From incorporating a sprig into your bridal bouquet to adding it as a cake accent, here are some ideas for using lavender in your wedding.
- In a cocktail
- On a menu card
- Tossed at the bride & groom as they exit
- In the boutonniere
- Tied on a fresh roll
- Lining the ceremony aisle
- Marking ceremony chairs
- Garnishing the wedding cake
- On the escort cards
- In the bridal bouquet
- In the flower girl's bouquet
- As a centerpiece
- As an arrangement at the cocktail hour
- For guest favors
We offer handmade soaps, bath salts, wands, sachets & other items for your wedding guest favors. Or purchase our lavender & make your own. Make it a fun day with your bridal party and come pick lavender (in season)
And, of course lavender can be used in drinks, meals & desserts. Check out some of our lavender recipes.
