Join Dave Long for his Lavender and Sunflower Photography Workshops here at The Farm at SummitWynds
JUNE 30 2021: During this 2-½ hour workshop we will wander the fields of The Farm at SummitWynds shooting landscape, macro and drone shots of this magnificent location overlooking Mt. Wachusett. The owner Amy Parker will explain the 20+ varieties of lavender now in their fourth year. We will be working with a variety of props including antique carts, vintage bicycles, garden arbors and benches and of course her classic 1959 White Chevrolet Pickup. We will conclude the session with refreshments and tabletop photography of lavender bouquets and arrangements in minimalistic pails and baskets.
6:30am and 5:30pm sessions available
SEPTEMBER 1 2021: During this 2-½ hour workshop we will wander the fields of The Farm at SummitWynds shooting landscape, macro and drone shots of this magnificent location overlooking Mt. Wachusett. The owner Amy Parker will explain the six different varieties of sunflowers that range from 2’-10’ that are arranged in paths, rows and alcoves. We will be working with a variety of props including antique carts, vintage bicycles, and of course her classic 1959 White Chevrolet Pickup. We will conclude the session with refreshments and tabletop photography of sunflower bouquets and arrangements in minimalistic pails and baskets.
7am and 4:30pm sessions available
Equipment Needed
- Any dSLR or mirrorless camera with a range of lenses with focal lengths ranging from 16mm - 100mm. Macro lenses are great if you have them.
- A tripod is recommended and if you are into drone photography, this is permitted at the workshop.
